Day 42-8: -$112.50 (-28 BB at $2/4)

Level: -$151.00 in 569 table minutes (-38 BB at $2/4)
Overall: +$155.90 in 5538 table minutes

It was another rough time out, even though the table was good. I just can't pick up cards when I need them. Absolution sweated me and he seemed to think I wasn't totally out of line, so I'm willing to blame variance, too. I did make a few river calls and such that I probably could have gotten away from, but those were small things.

Just as a side note, I'm $49 from BUSTO at this level.

Hand 1: Villain was raising light preflop (54o) and kept up the aggression when he had the lead, but I had not really seen much of his river play. He was aggressive enough that I felt he could bluff.

Preflop: Hero is BB with Ac, Ks. UTG posts a blind of $2.
UTG (poster) raises, 2 folds, Hero 3-bets, UTG calls.

Flop: (6.50 SB) Kh, Qs, 9d (2 players)
Hero bets, UTG calls.

Turn: (4.25 BB) 3s (2 players)
Hero bets, UTG calls.

River: (6.25 BB) Jd (2 players)
Hero bets, UTG raises, Hero calls.

Results:
Hero has Ac Ks (one pair, kings).
UTG has Js 9h (two pair, jacks and nines).
Outcome: UTG wins 10.25 BB.

Hand 2: I don't know if I like taking this passive line. It worked out okay this time...

Preflop: Hero is Button with Jh, Ah.
2 folds, CO calls, Hero raises, 1 fold, BB calls, CO calls.

Flop: (6.50 SB) 7d, 3h, 8c (3 players)
BB bets, CO calls, Hero calls.

Turn: (4.75 BB) Js (3 players)
BB bets, CO calls, Hero calls.

River: (7.75 BB) 2h (3 players)
BB bets, CO folds, Hero calls.

Results:
BB has 9h Ts (straight, jack high).
Hero has Jh Ah (one pair, jacks).

Hand 3: Villain was readable. I didn't want to fold, but I knew it was best.

Preflop: Hero is BB with Jh, As.
1 fold, Button calls, SB completes, Hero raises, Button calls, SB calls.

Flop: (6 SB) 6d, Ad, Ts (3 players)
SB checks, BB bets, Button calls, SB calls.

Turn: (4.50 BB) 4c (3 players)
SB checks, Hero bets, Button calls, SB calls $1 (All-In).

River: (6.75 BB) 7d (3 players, 1 all-in)

Hero bets, Button raises, Hero folds.

Results:
Button has Kd 8d (flush, ace high).
SB has 7s 6c (two pair, sevens and sixes).

Hand 4: Some may argue that a value bet here is good, but villain's coldcall of three bets makes me think he's more likely on an ace than a smaller PP.

Preflop: Hero is Button with Ks, Kc.
UTG raises, Hero 3-bets, SB calls, 1 fold, UTG calls.

Flop: (10 SB) Tc, Ah, 2c (3 players)
SB checks, UTG checks, Hero bets, SB calls, UTG folds.

Turn: (6 BB) Jh (2 players)
SB checks, Hero bets, SB calls.

River: (8 BB) 2s (2 players)
SB checks, Hero checks.

Results:
SB has Qh As (two pair, aces and twos).
Hero has Ks Kc (two pair, kings and twos).

Hand 5: Should I have bluffed this river? There seemed to be not enough draws to warrant betting it.

Preflop: Hero is BB with 3d, 4d.
Button raises, 1 fold, Hero calls.

Flop: (4.50 SB) Ac, 9d, Jd (2 players)
Hero checks, Button bets, Hero raises, Button calls.

Turn: (4.25 BB) Js (2 players)
Hero bets, Button calls.

River: (6.25 BB) 6c (2 players)
Hero checks, Button checks.

Results:
Hero has 3d 4d (one pair, jacks).
Button has Tc 7c (one pair, jacks).

Hand 6: I had to suck out and I flopped a set here. It's indicative of the problems I've been having.

Preflop: Hero is Button with 6s, 6h.
Hero raises, 1 fold, BB calls.

Flop: (4.50 SB) Jc, 6c, Qc (2 players)
BB checks, Hero bets, BB raises, Hero 3-bets, BB calls.

BB checks, Hero bets, BB calls.

River: (7.25 BB) Qs (2 players)
BB checks, Hero bets, BB raises, Hero 3-bets, BB calls.

Results:
BB has 8c 3c (flush, queen high).
Hero has 6s 6h (full house, sixes full of queens).
