Day 54-2: -$59.50 (-15 BB at $2/4)

Level: -$4.00 in 3.67 table hours (-1 BB at $2/4)
Overall: +$316.15 in 113.83 table hours

I've labeled this as a 2-table day even though half the time was spent one-tabling. I went busto on my 20 BB buy-in at one of my tables and decided not to buy-in again (if I had wanted to buy-in again, I would have done so before I went busto). I feel that I played pretty well and just got unlucky, but I also recognize that I was at a bad seat at a very aggressive table (between two LAGs). I also ran into a very aggressive multitabler, the first one I've noticed who at least seems somewhat decent. At the other levels, the multitablers all seemed very weak postflop. It was a new experience (especially being in two complicated hands simultaneously against him), and I think I've got a few things to study and take away from it.

Hand 1: This is very likely supposed to be a bet-fold on the end. Fortunately, I wasn't put to the test on it.

Preflop: Hero is BB with Ac, Ad.
2 folds, Button raises, SB calls, Hero 3-bets, Button calls, SB calls.

Flop: (9 SB) Qd, Kc, Ts (3 players)
SB checks, Hero bets, Button folds, SB calls.

Turn: (5.50 BB) 5s (2 players)
SB checks, Hero bets, SB calls.

River: (7.50 BB) As (2 players)
SB checks, Hero bets, SB folds.

Hand 2: This was one of those confrontations with the very aggressive multitabler. I should have bet the turn since I raised the flop, but I was caught up with another hand against him at the same time and wasn't able to put it all together. Potentially, against an aggressive player, I could also just call the 3-bet preflop and play from there.

Preflop: Hero is UTG with Qd, As.
Hero raises, 3 folds, SB 3-bets, 1 fold, Hero caps, SB calls.

Flop: (9 SB) Ts, 8d, 6h (2 players)
SB bets, Hero raises, SB calls.

Turn: (6.50 BB) Td (2 players)
SB checks, Hero checks.

River: (6.50 BB) Js (2 players)
SB checks, Hero checks.

Results:
SB has Qs Ad (one pair, tens).
Hero has Qd As (one pair, tens).

Hand 3: This hand was played at the same time as the previous one. I thought about check-raising the turn, but decided I would rather just try to get to showdown against him. I think I lose some value out of playing that way.

Preflop: Hero is SB with Kd, Kh.
4 folds, Hero raises, BB calls.

Flop: (4 SB) 3h, 7c, Ah (2 players)
Hero bets, BB raises, Hero calls.

Turn: (4 BB) 9c (2 players)
Hero checks, BB bets, Hero calls.

River: (6 BB) Qd (2 players)
Hero checks, BB bets, Hero calls.

Results:
Hero has Kd Kh (one pair, kings).
BB has Qc 3s (two pair, queens and threes).

Hand 4: I feel like maybe I should have been able to get away from this one on the end. The MP is the aggressive multitabling villain. Notice his turn raise with two pair despite the turn donk into a preflop AND flop 3-bettor. I don't think I approve of that play.

Preflop: Hero is Button with Ad, Js.
1 fold, MP raises, 1 fold, Hero 3-bets, 1 fold, BB calls, MP calls.

Flop: (9.50 SB) Ac, 6c, Jd (3 players)
BB bets, MP raises, Button 3-bets, BB calls, MP calls.

Turn: (8.25 BB) Tc (3 players)
BB bets, MP raises, Hero calls, BB 3-bets, MP calls, Hero calls.

River: (17.25 BB) 4d (3 players)
BB bets, MP calls, Hero calls.

Results:
BB has 8c Kc (flush, ace high).
MP has Ah Td (two pair, aces and tens).
Hero has Ad Js (two pair, aces and jacks).

Hand 5: I tried to get a little aggro on the multitabler on this hand (it was as soon as I discovered he was a multitabler) to try to get him to fold a better ace. I'm not sure how good of a play this is. I don't know if he's going to call down with AK, which makes it harder to assess (as this is the crux of the matter).

Preflop: Hero is MP with Ah, Tc.
1 fold, Hero raises, CO 3-bets, 3 folds, Hero calls.

Flop: (7.50 SB) 4s, 2h, 3s (2 players)
Hero checks, CO bets, Hero calls.

Turn: (4.75 BB) 6c (2 players)
Hero checks, CO bets, Hero raises, CO calls.

River: (8.75 BB) 2s (2 players)
Hero bets, CO calls.

Hero has Ah Tc (one pair, twos).
CO has 9c 9h (two pair, nines and twos).

Hand 6: I wanted to 3-bet the turn here, but I'm not sure if I can get away with it often enough. Since I'm in position and drawing to a flush (as well as possibly having the best hand), I can save the extra value raise for when I hit the flush.

Preflop: Hero is Button with Js, Ks.
1 fold, MP raises, Hero 3-bets, 2 folds, MP calls.

Flop: (7.50 SB) Kd, Ts, Jd (2 players)
MP checks, Hero bets, MP raises, Hero 3-bets, MP calls.

Turn: (6.75 BB) 8s (2 players)
MP checks, Hero bets, MP raises, Hero calls.

River: (10.75 BB) 2s (2 players)
MP bets, Hero raises, MP calls.

Results:
MP has Kc Td (two pair, kings and tens).
Hero has Js Ks (flush, king high).

Hand 7: Here's another flopped two pair hand with KJs, except that I didn't get as much action with it. But I do like the villain that called me down.

Preflop: Hero is UTG with Js, Ks.
Hero raises, 2 folds, Button calls, SB calls, BB calls.

Flop: (8 SB) Kh, Jd, 2c (4 players)
SB checks, BB checks, Hero bets, Button calls, SB calls, BB folds.

Turn: (5.50 BB) 7h (3 players)
SB checks, Hero bets, Button folds, SB calls.

River: (7.50 BB) 7s (2 players)
SB checks, Hero bets, SB calls.

Results:
SB has Td As (one pair, sevens).
Hero has Js Ks (two pair, kings and jacks).

Hand 8: Here's a missed river check-raise against the multitabler. I was afraid that he may not bet a medium-strength hand, but in retrospect it seems pretty obvious that his action indicates he has a hand with good value. Why no preflop raise? I'm not sure.

Preflop: Hero is SB with Tc, Kc.
2 folds, CO calls, 1 fold, Hero completes, BB checks.

Flop: (3 SB) Js, Qs, 7d (3 players)
Hero bets, BB raises, CO calls, Hero calls.

Turn: (4.50 BB) 3h (3 players)
Hero checks, BB bets, CO calls, Hero calls.

River: (7.50 BB) 9d (3 players)
Hero bets, BB calls, CO folds.

Results:
Hero has Tc Kc (straight, king high).
BB has Qh 4s (one pair, queens).

Hand 9: This is a good example of what I meant by how aggressive the table was. Ironically, UTG complained about the river card before calling.

Preflop: Hero is BB with 9h, Kh.
UTG raises, MP calls, 2 folds, SB calls, Hero calls.

Flop: (8 SB) 9c, 8c, 2s (4 players)
SB checks, Hero checks, UTG bets, MP raises, SB folds, Hero 3-bets, UTG calls, MP caps, Hero calls, UTG calls.

Turn: (10 BB) Th (3 players)
Hero checks, UTG bets, MP calls, Hero calls.

River: (13 BB) 2c (3 players)
Hero checks, UTG bets, MP raises, Hero folds, UTG calls.

Results:
UTG has 8s Tc (two pair, tens and eights).
MP has 2h 2d (four of a kind, twos).
