Play like crap and end up a big winner. Variance is so much fun! I really don't feel like I played well at all. I mean, I played decently well, probably a solid enough to beat the games, but I was making a number of really terrible calldowns and other bad decisions. I don't know why that happens.
Hand 1: Here's a perfectly good example of a bad river call.
Preflop: Hero is SB with Kd, As.
2 folds, CO raises, 1 fold, Hero 3-bets, BB caps, CO calls, Hero calls.
Flop: (12 SB) 8c, 4d, 8d (3 players)
Hero checks, BB bets, CO folds, Hero calls.
Turn: (7 BB) 5d (2 players)
Hero checks, BB bets, Hero calls.
River: (9 BB) 8h (2 players)
Hero checks, BB bets, Hero calls.
Results:
Hero has Kd As (three of a kind, eights).
BB has Td Th (full house, eights full of tens).
Hand 2: Duh.
Preflop: Hero is MP with Qh, As.
1 fold, Hero raises, CO calls, 2 folds, BB calls.

Turn: (5.25 BB) 7s (2 players)
Hero checks, CO bets, Hero calls.
River: (7.25 BB) 4d (2 players)
Hero checks, CO bets, Hero calls.
Results:
Hero has Qh As (high card, ace).
CO has Kd 8d (one pair, kings).
Hand 3: This is just bad luck.
Preflop: Hero is Button with Qd, Qh.
1 fold, MP calls, CO raises, Hero 3-bets, 2 folds, MP calls, CO calls.
Flop: (10.50 SB) Td, 7h, 4h (3 players)

Turn: (6.25 BB) 5d (2 players)

River: (8.25 BB) Ks (2 players)
CO bets, Hero calls.
Results:
CO has Kh 5c (two pair, kings and fives).
Hero has Qd Qh (one pair, queens).
Hand 4: MUBS? Villain was known to be somewhat loose-passive, but I'm holding two of the flop cards, making sets very unlikely.
Preflop: Hero is CO with 9d, 8d.
2 folds, Hero raises, Button calls, 1 fold, BB calls.
Flop: (6.50 SB) 4c, 8s, 9h (3 players)

Turn: (4.75 BB) 3c (3 players)
BB checks, Hero bets, Button raises, BB folds, Hero calls.

Hero checks, Button bets, Hero calls.
Results:
Hero has 9d 8d (two pair, nines and eights).
Button has Th Tc (one pair, tens).
Hand 5: Here's another terrible hand. The coldcall was part of my trying to get involved with LAG MP, but I only beat a bluff after the turn completes the flush AND brings the big overcard. Plus, he actually had a hand this time.
Preflop: Hero is CO with 8d, 7d.
UTG calls, MP raises, Hero calls, 3 folds, UTG calls.
Flop: (7.50 SB) 4h, 8s, Ah (3 players)

Turn: (6.75 BB) Kh (2 players)

River: (8.75 BB) 5d (2 players)
MP bets, Hero calls.
Results:
MP has Ks Ac (two pair, aces and kings).
Hero has 8d 7d (one pair, eights).
Hand 6: Iso-raise against the LAG, but I freeze up postflop and lose the pot.

Results:
MP has Ad 6c (one pair, sixes).
Hero has 8d Ac (high card, ace).
Hand 7: Preflop FPS against an aggro player turns into KK winning very little money.

Hand 8: How do I win money? I just run into really stupid villains.
Preflop: Hero is SB with 3s, Qs.
1 fold, MP calls, 1 fold, Button calls, Hero completes, BB checks.
Flop: (4 SB) 3d, 2s, 6c (4 players)

Results:
Hero has 3s Qs (flush, queen high).
