Another down session, but not bad. It could have been better. I missed some big draws and they hit their few-outers. Overall, it feels more like a test of patience than anything.
Hand 1: Here's a spot where I think I should check the turn with two callers. Heads up, I think it's a fairly good bet, but with two other players, the chances of getting them both to fold is pretty small.
Preflop: Hero is BB with Ah, Qh.
UTG calls, MP raises, CO calls, 2 folds, Hero 3-bets, UTG calls, MP calls, CO calls.
Flop: (12.50 SB) 8d, 8h, Jh (4 players)
Hero bets, UTG folds, MP calls, CO calls.
Turn: (7.75 BB) 2c (3 players)
Hero bets, MP calls, CO folds.
River: (9.75 BB) 3c (2 players)
Hero checks, MP checks.
Final Pot: 9.75 BB
Results:
Hero has Ah Qh (one pair, eights).
MP has 9c 9h (two pair, nines and eights).
Hand 2: Villain has been very aggressive, bluffing/semi-bluffing too often and value betting some weakish hands. He drew to his hand this time. I suppose one can argue for just calling because the 7 just made a bunch of hands of his catch up to mine, or folding the river if he has anything resembling sanity.
Preflop: Hero is MP with Ah, Qs.
1 fold, Hero raises, 1 fold, Button calls, 2 folds.
Flop: (5.50 SB) Ac, Td, 7c (2 players)
Hero bets, Button raises, Hero calls.
Turn: (4.75 BB) 6h (2 players)
Hero checks, Button bets, Hero calls.
River: (6.75 BB) 7s (2 players)
Hero checks, Button bets, Hero raises, Button 3-bets, Hero calls.
Results:
Hero has Ah Qs (two pair, aces and sevens).
Button has 9d 8d (straight, ten high).
Hand 3: Bad calldown? Villain was pretty aggressive and I felt there was a reasonable chance he would check-raise semi-bluff the flush draw. But he had a slightly better hand.
Preflop: Hero is Button with Ad, 4s.
3 folds, Button raises, 1 fold, BB calls.
Flop: (4.50 SB) Kh, 4h, 7d (2 players)
BB checks, Hero bets, BB calls.
Turn: (3.25 BB) 2c (2 players)
BB checks, Hero bets, BB raises, Hero calls.
River: (7.25 BB) Td (2 players)
BB bets, Hero calls.
Results:
BB has Qh 7h (one pair, sevens).
Hero has Ad 4s (one pair, fours).
Hand 4: I think I should have just coldcalled the flop to see what would happen.
Preflop: Hero is MP with Qd, Ks.
1 fold, Hero raises, CO 3-bets, 1 fold, SB calls, 1 fold, Hero calls.
Flop: (10 SB) Qs, 9d, 8h (3 players)

SB bets, Hero calls.
Results:
SB has 9c 9h (three of a kind, nines).
Hero has Qd Ks (one pair, queens).
Hand 5: Here's a missed value bet. I don't know what I was thinking.
Preflop: Hero is BB with Qc, Tc.
UTG bets 4 folds, Hero calls.
Flop: (4.50 SB) 9c, 3s, Th (2 players)
Hero checks, UTG bets, BB raises, UTG calls.
Turn: (2.75 BB) Ad (2 players)
Hero bets, UTG calls
River: (3.75 BB) 4h (2 players)
Hero checks, UTG checks.
Results:
Hero has Qc Tc (one pair, tens).
UTG has 7d 7s (one pair, sevens).
UTG doesn't show.
Hand 6: Getting too fancy against an aggressive villain 3-handed? I don't know. My logic was that he would bet any decent hand. That means any pair or even an ace, and would pay off a check-raise. Any hand that he wouldn't bet, he wouldn't call, either. At least, that was the logic.
Preflop: Hero is SB with Td, Qs.
Button raises, Hero 3-bets, 1 fold, Button calls.
Flop: (7 SB) 8d, 6d, Tc (2 players)
Hero bets, Button calls.

Hero checks, Button checks.
Results:
Hero has Td Qs (full house, eights full of tens).
Button has 9c Qd (three of a kind, eights).
Hand 7: Two-outer. Ugh. Maybe I'm supposed to fold top pair weak kicker to the turn raise, anyway.
Preflop: Hero is BB with 6s, Qd.
2 folds, CO calls, Button calls, SB completes, Hero checks.
Flop: (4 SB) Qc, 4s, 2h (4 players)

Turn: (3 BB) 5c (2 players)

River: (7 BB) Jc (2 players)
Hero checks, Button bets, Hero calls.
Results:
Hero has 6s Qd (one pair, queens).
Button has 5h 5d (three of a kind, fives).
Hand 8: Here was a fun spot. Villain bought in for 10 BB and seemed to be playing a very wild game for the first 4 hands at the table. It changed a tough river bet-call into an easy river bet-call.
Preflop: Hero is Button with Jd, Jh.
2 folds, Button raises, SB calls, BB calls.
Flop: (6 SB) 4s, 7d, Js (3 players)
