Day 73-6: +$48.50 (+24 BB at $1/2)

Level: +$71.75 in 17.25 table hours (+36 BB at $1/2)
Overall: +$344.40 in 156.22 table hours

I squeezed in a 1-hour session this afternoon and caught a really nice run of cards. It's fun to play 32/26 poker! Even though those stats are pretty high, I played a pretty unimaginative game. Value bet, value bet, value bet...

Hand 1: I felt like I should have bet the river or something. However, if he's semibluffing with Ks all the way, then there's little value in throwing in the river bet because he's never calling. So I guess maybe I can check-raise the turn. On the other hand, I should be glad to get to showdown.

Preflop: Hero is SB with Ad, Qh.
2 folds, Button raises, Hero 3-bets, Button caps, Hero calls.

Flop: (8 SB) As, 7s, 8s (3 players)
Hero checks, Button bets, Hero calls.

Turn: (5 BB) 8h (3 players)
Hero checks, Button bets, Hero

River: (7 BB) 9d (3 players)
Hero checks, Button checks.

Results:
Hero has Ad Qh (two pair, aces and eights).
Button has Jh Jc (two pair, jacks and eights).

Hand 2: I know that villain in this hand can be a little aggro out of the blinds, but isn't completely out of control. The turn raise forces a naked spade to pay an extra bet, plus I get two bets out of worse aces, of which there are plenty in his range.

Preflop: Hero is Button with Ac, Qh.
2 folds, Button raises, BB 3-bets, Hero calls.

Flop: (6 SB) Js, As, 5s (3 players)
BB bets, Hero calls.

Turn: (4 BB) 7d (3 players)
BB bets, Hero raises, BB calls.

River: (8 BB) 3c (3 players)
BB checks, Hero bets, BB calls.

Results:
BB has Ad 9d (one pair, aces).
Hero has Ac Qh (one pair, aces).

Hand 3: Here's an interesting value betting hand. Villain's preflop raise and flop check sometimes means AK/KK, but can also be a scared QQ/JJ or even AQ that is smart enough not to c-bet. The queen isn't such a good river value betting card because it hits a wide range of gutshot type hands that could be hanging around for 3 bets preflop. It turns out I could have won a little more, but I'm not too disappointed.

Preflop: Hero is MP with 9h, Ac.
UTG calls, Hero raises, SB 3-bets, BB calls, UTG calls, Hero calls.

Flop: (12 SB) 9s, Kc, 6c (4 players)
SB checks, BB checks, UTG checks, Hero bets, SB folds, BB calls, UTG calls.

Turn: (7.50 BB) 3c (3 players)
BB checks, UTG checks, Hero bets, BB calls, UTG calls.

River: (10.50 BB) Qh (4 players)
BB checks, UTG checks, Hero checks.

Results:
BB has 8h 9d (one pair, nines).
UTG has 7c 7d (one pair, sevens).
Hero has 9h Ac (one pair, nines).

Hand 4: I have no idea why this villain suddenly woke up with hyper-aggression. I didn't mind, of course. I was really expecting to see AK.

Preflop: Hero is SB with 7d, Ac.
3 folds, Hero raises, BB 3-bets, Hero calls.

Flop: (6 SB) 4d, Ah, Jd (2 players)
Hero checks, BB bets, Hero calls.

Turn: (4 BB) 7c (2 players)
Hero bets, BB raises, Hero 3-bets, BB caps, Hero calls.

River: (12 BB) 7h (2 players)
Hero bets, BB raises, Hero 3-bets, BB caps, Hero calls.

Results:
Hero has 7d Ac (full house, sevens full of aces).
BB has 9h As (two pair, aces and sevens).

Hand 5: Bad turn card. I wish I knew what villain had after call-capping the flop and what button saw the river with.

Preflop: Hero is BB with Jc, Js.
2 folds, CO calls, Button raises, 1 fold, Hero 3-bets, CO calls, Button calls.

Flop: (9.50 SB) 6h, Th, 4h (3 players)

Turn: (10.75 BB) Kh (3 players)
Hero checks, CO bets, Button calls, Hero folds.

River: (12.75 BB) 5c (2 players)
CO bets, Button folds.

Hand 6: After a loose flop call, the turn and river are easy value bets.

Preflop: Hero is BB with Tc, 8c.
UTG calls, 1 fold, Button calls, SB completes, Hero checks.

Flop: (4 SB) 6s, 4d, 5c (4 players)
SB bets, Hero calls, UTG calls, Button folds.

SB checks, Hero bets, UTG folds, SB calls.

Results:
SB has 6h Ah (one pair, sixes).
Hero has Tc 8c (one pair, eights).

Hand 7: Another overplayed weakish hand by a different player. These guys add substantial amounts to my profit.

Preflop: Hero is UTG with 7c, 7s.
Hero raises, 3 folds, BB calls.

Flop: (4.50 SB) 4h, 2d, 6c (3 players)
