Day 60-8: +$8.50 (+2 BB at $2/4)

Level: -$20.50 in 14.65 table hours (-5 BB at $2/4)
Overall: +$299.65 in 124.82 table hours

Today was up first, then down. I can't seem to keep my focus for more than an hour now, but I guess that's a result of not playing much poker and being out of practice. This is something I'll need to intentionally focus on for a while.

Hand 1: AA cracked. I debated merely calling the check-raise on the turn, but I think I've been playing those spots too softly and missing value. Unfortunately, this time I had the worst of it.

Preflop: Hero is UTG with Ac, Ah.
Hero raises, MP calls, 3 folds, BB calls.

Flop: (6.50 SB) Qc, 6h, 7c (3 players)
BB checks, Hero bets, MP folds, BB calls.

Turn: (4.25 BB) Ks (2 players)
BB checks, Hero bets, BB raises, Hero 3-bets, BB calls.

River: (10.25 BB) 7h (2 players)
BB bets, Hero calls.

Results:
BB has 7s 6s (full house, sevens full of sixes).
Hero has Ac Ah (two pair, aces and sevens).

Hand 2: Here's an interesting one. My read is that the turn betting villain is relatively aggressive and the turn raising villain is relatively passive. Without these reads, this would be an even more interesting situation. But given what I know, it's a no-brainer fold against this villain's turn raise. (This was his first hand at the table, but I had notes from previous encounters.)

Preflop: Hero is SB with Ah, Qc. CO posts a blind of $2.
UTG calls, 1 fold, CO (poster) checks, Button calls, Hero raises, BB calls, UTG calls, CO calls, Button calls.

Flop: (10 SB) Tc, 8c, Jh (5 players)
Hero checks, BB checks, UTG checks, CO bets, Button calls, Hero calls, BB calls, UTG folds.

Turn: (7 BB) Qh (4 players)
Hero checks, BB bets, CO raises, Button folds, Hero folds, BB calls.

River: (11 BB) 8s (2 players)
BB checks, CO bets, BB calls.

Results:
BB has Qs Ac (two pair, queens and eights).
CO has 9d Td (straight, queen high).

Hand 3: In this hand, villain is stacking off. I had just sat down at the table an orbit earlier, and I noticed that he was playing a wildly aggressive game. I waited until the turn to raise because this gave me the best chance of making the third player fold. I think it's good, given that all my outs are potentially clean and I might *barely* have the best hand if he's doing something silly with a drawing type hand like 65s or something.

Preflop: Hero is MP with Jc, Tc.
1 fold, Hero raises, 2 folds, SB calls, BB 3-bets, Hero calls, SB calls.

Flop: (9 SB) Kc, 7h, 9s (3 players)
SB checks, BB bets, Hero calls, SB calls.

Turn: (6 BB) 2d (3 players)
SB checks, BB bets, Hero raises, SB folds, BB calls $4 (All-In).

River: (10 BB) 9h (2 players, 1 all-in)

Results:
BB has Ah 5s (one pair, nines).
Hero has Jc Tc (one pair, nines).

Hand 4: Value bet.

Preflop: Hero is BB with Qs, Kd.
4 folds, SB raises, BB 3-bets, SB calls.

Flop: (6 SB) 8h, 7h, 7s (2 players)
SB checks, BB bets, SB calls.

Turn: (4 BB) Kc (2 players)
SB checks, BB bets, SB calls.

River: (6 BB) 8c (2 players)
SB checks, Hero bets, SB calls.

Results:
SB has Ts Ah (two pair, eights and sevens).
Hero has Qs Kd (two pair, kings and eights).
