Variance -- the great un-equalizer. I played a short session today because I hit a bad downswing quickly (less than 30 minutes) and I'm not in the mood to settle in for a long grind to try to pull out of it. Maybe I'll come back later today and try again, but not now. I only played 28 hands, and there isn't much to post on them. It's mostly something like raising preflop, getting called, flopping nothing, betting, getting called, slowing down, still not improving, getting shown down bottom pair, and losing. I also faced a surprisingly large number of flop donks when I completely missed, which is also frustrating. But that's okay. That's the game.
