Day 41-7: -$52.00 (-13 BB at $2/4)

Level: -$38.50 in 469 table minutes (-10 BB at $2/4)
Overall: +$268.40 in 5438 table minutes

Another big downswing. I feel I played fairly well, probably an A-/B+ game, but I got stung on a couple hands, and it only takes a couple hands to make a big swing.

Hand 1: I knew I was beat on the river. But I paid it off anyway. This is one of those spots where I wonder if it's actually better to just fold.

Preflop: Hero is MP with Ah, Kd.
1 fold, Hero raises, CO calls, Button calls, 1 fold, BB calls.

Flop: (8.50 SB) 2s, Ac, 9s (4 players)
BB checks, Hero bets, CO folds, Button calls, BB folds.

Turn: (5.25 BB) 3c (2 players)
Hero bets, Button calls.

River: (7.25 BB) 7d (2 players)
Hero bets, Button raises, Hero calls.

Results:
Hero has Ah Kd (one pair, aces).
Button has Ad 7s (two pair, aces and sevens).

Hand 2: Stupid, stupid river...

Preflop: Hero is UTG with Jd, Qd.
Hero raises, 2 folds, Button 3-bets, 2 folds, Hero calls.

Flop: (7.50 SB) Tc, 8c, 9c (2 players)

Turn: (7.75 BB) 7s (2 players)

River: (11.75 BB) 4c (2 players)

Results:
